Dresses!

Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve been really girly. I literally thought I was princess for the first four years of my life, (my mom says that I still think I am). When I went to elementary school I wore a dress everyday to school. I didn’t own a pair of pants (well, I did, but I thought you had to dress up at school). I loved being girly and wearing dresses made me feel pretty.
Ever since middle school I wore jeans and tees. It was the style, no one wanted to be a little girl and wear dresses. We were all too cool for that. I didn’t miss my dresses, but I wasn’t quite myself without them. Come freshman year, I didn’t own a dress that was really appropriate for school. They were more for church, or a wedding or funeral. But last year I found a lot of dresses at the mall that I really liked. Now, I probably own five or so. I really like some that I saw at the mall this weekend, and I decided I’m going to get a lot more. Partially because it was a part of childhood memories, and partially because it’s just me.
Another goal is to find some cute sailor dresses. If you know me, you know I have a small obsession with nautical things: lighthouses, anchors, red, white, and blue striped things, etc. etc.
